joey022461 Posted December 31, 2006 Share Posted December 31, 2006 Does anyone encounter problems when using IMAP accounts (AOL) with Outlook 2007?Every so often the program hangs up, lower right hand corner "Dounloading Hierarchy".. It costs me 30-40 seconds every time I switch between accounts.. Sometimes it is normal, sometimes it hangs up.. joey022461 Posted January 3, 2007 Author Share Posted January 3, 2007 I get email from AOL/AIM no problem, it is when I start Outlook 2007 I always get hangups on "Downloading Hierarchy" or "Unable to connect to IMAP account" .. It is set up right because it does work. After it hangs for 30-40 secs it comes back usable.. its hard to explain.. Maybe it is the AOL servers..
