Problem with my forums

I am trying to get my website to redirect to index.html but instead it just goes directly to my forums... I use smf. Does that have anything to do with my website? If not please tell me.

There are lots of ways to redirect. How are you trying to do it? SMF shouldn't be doing anything that would break redirects.
