WDS, add Vista Image to boot menu

Hi,

I am running WDS as a test now, it works fine, since I can boot with PXE.

I have added the PE boot image as well as a Vista Enterprise Image in WDS, but when I use PXE boot I can only choose for the good old RIS, or for the Windows PE image, when I boot PE it boots fine but then it doesn't do anything anymore.

I have also created an answerfile with "Windows system image manager" and linked it to the Vista image.

But what do I need to do to see the Vista image in my boot menu when booting with PXE ?

Thanks

The concept is that you boot of a WinPE image, normally you'd use the boot.wim from the Vista DVD to do this.

The WinPE in boot.wim is built to show a list of install images defined in your WDS and will allow the user to select an image to install.

Allright, that's what I thought so.

But why can't I see the Vista image which I have also added to the WDS server ?

I have configured the Vista image to use an unattended file on the WDS server, but I cannot see this Vista image when booting with PXE.

am I missing some steps ?
