Spartanicus Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Can IE6SP1 be streamlined into W2K? I'd hate to simply include it on the CD, I have downloaded the full installer but I really do not want Outlook Express, VBS and other junk being installed.
0d14r3 Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 Try HFSLIP.Look at http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showforum=129
johndoe74 Posted December 12, 2006 Posted December 12, 2006 (edited) yup, hfslip is awesome! i've done the same myself. you can integrate all the windows updates/patches, rollup 1, msxml, mdac, IE6 and its updates/patches and directx 9.0c and its updates/patches. Spartanicus Posted December 12, 2006 Author Posted December 12, 2006 Try HFSLIP.Look at http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showforum=129Thanks.Am I right that I should use HFSLIP to slip in SP4, IE6 etc, and that I should then on the output result of HFSLIP run nLite to create an install that doesn't include Outlook Express, VBS etc?
johndoe74 Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 that is correct. you can remove components with nlite once hfslipping is done
