The problem is with rights to the machine - it's actually usually not the firewall or the A/V that stops functioning or doesn't work, but the COM objects for the service either don't get installed properly or get installed, but your user account doesn't have enough rights to run the application. I believe this very question has been asked before here, and disabling UAC and reinstalling fixed it (but disabling UAC really isn't a fix in my book, but to each his/her own). I think in February, after Vista is officially released to the public, you'll find more help from McAfee on their products running on Vista.

i have disable UAC but nothing..mdf do not run after the installation (that's ok the installation process)..

i think that i have to attend february..

however today mcafee has released a patch for MDF that may resolve this problem..i hope..
