niceguy Posted December 11, 2006 Share Posted December 11, 2006 hi guyscan anyone help me with this problem i'm encountering?i'm having problem with a few of the XP pro sp2 machine at work.i've tried google for a solution but so far still not able to resolve it.whenever the pcs are left unattended, the screensaver will kick in after 5 minsa error msgbox will pop up with the heading"microsoft visual c++ runtime libary"and the msg "runtime error!""program: c:\windows\system32\scr1.scr""abnormal program termination"the weird thing is that not all of the machine are having this problem.just some of it and double clicking on the scr1.scr file launch the screen saver without error.i've tried giving full permission to the folder system32 and still have the error.how do i resolve this?? thanks in advance for any help rendered.best regards Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
