GIL Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 What command can I use to execute Windows Explorer with the search pane on?Why? oh... ok.I like Windows Desktop Search 3.0 but seems everbody is p***ed about it removing it's former option for toggling the search companion as the default, but I read somewhere they'll revisit the option.I'll use it any wayFound out that the registry key[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Desktop Search\DS]"ShowStartSearchBand"=dword:00000000set that way would restore the search companion so I created a couple of SFX that so this so I can put them on the start menu, it's just that I'd like them to open the search too. So. Who knows what command opens explorer with the search pane?Or, what uses WDS when you click ..."use search companion"?ThanksGILPS. Added the SFXsToggle_Windows_Desktop_Search.rar
