skizo Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 (edited) After doing a re-boot, it won't appear. I have my taskbars set on auto-hide, but it still doesn't show up after putting my mouse at the bottom of the screen. The taskbar on my secondary monitor works just fine though. It's only my primary that I'm having problems with. Also, it's not that my mouse isn't activating it, it just isn't there. When I take the taskbar off auto-hide, it still isn't showing.I've tried:System Restore, but that didn't fix it.I read that Ctrl+Esc will toggle it, but that didn't work. It's not on another border of the monitor, I've checked them all.I opened the Task Manager, clicked 'New Task', and typed "explorer", but that didn't work.I've tried re-booting again.Scanned with Adaware-SEFull system scan with Norton AVTried changing theme.I tried re-booting in Safe Mode. The taskbar does appear that way.Any suggestions? Edited November 20, 2006 by skizo
Maleko Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Looks like you have Extended desktop enables in your display properties, and you have set monitor 2 as your default monitor.Right click on your desktop > PropertiesThen select the Settings tab, and you should see 2 squares with 1 and 2 in, which tells you wat monitors yu have. From there you can select the monitor with number 1 in, and tick the box, set this as my default monitor.

Everything works correctly except for the taskbar not appearing. I'm having to use the Windows button to access the Start Menu. Edited November 20, 2006 by skizo
skizo Posted November 21, 2006 Author Posted November 21, 2006 (edited) Well, I created another log-on account and it works fine there. I still don't have the slightest clue why it just disappeared like that.Oh well. Three feckin hours of visual adjustments, I have my PC back to normal. Edited November 21, 2006 by skizo
