zedox Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 As title says... A normal installation doesn't install .net1.0 but it is included with the disc in a cab file called netfx.cab... How do i get it to install whilst installing windows?
oioldman Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 i would use ryanvm silent install package and install from svcpack.infit would appear that .net2 can't be done from svcpack.inf.net3 i'm not sure about
zedox Posted November 14, 2006 Author Posted November 14, 2006 .net can be done from svcpack.infThere is instructions how to on the ryanvm forum...however this doesnt include net 1.0
Innocent Devil Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 u better try to install it with some addon packs or from svcpack.infevethough it is there, it meant only for mce 2004 and tpc2005(it is included by sp2)i tried many ways, and finally exhauseted, as it get installed only with mce or tpc
zedox Posted November 15, 2006 Author Posted November 15, 2006 Tried it from SVC watched the installation START to take place during T-13, the status bar of the install goes all the way to the end... then rolls back. With no error messages or anything to explain what went wrong!Be great for the community if we could resolve this, as many users need this to install MCE from cmdlines.txt
zedox Posted November 24, 2006 Author Posted November 24, 2006 (edited) Got it working!Developed an addon to be used with nlite if any one wants it...If your Windows is MCE edition then it wont install.Unless you can change the key [HKLM\System\WPA\MediaCenter] Install to 0 then install net1.0 then change it back to 1.
