ok Thanks. I'm looking at dx9 right now to slipstream it. I was thinking about just adding the files and the cat like I do with the hotfixes and then just install like I do now.

I want to make sure that the current hotfix compiler is stable for now though.

make sure you test it thoroughly though, part of the dx reg structure is nested in the hives on the iso

so you can and will run across some cross writes with it..make sure sequence is before reboot but post component register

Im not sure but how do I make sure it is post component register?

If I'm correct the way I have it now would do it that way as all the components are registered then it starts the hotfixes and then it starts the cmdlines.txt. I would be running the actual installer from the cmdlines.txt so it should be ok. I wont have it installing at the same time as the hotfoxes either but right after.

Would that be correct or not?
