mkimg failed to copy all the required files

Hello,

DETAILS:

I am using the Windows Server 2003 SP1 OPK CD for WinPE source and a Windows XP VL copy with SP2 slipstreamed.

RESULTS:

I have found a problem when using the mkimg.cmd to create a winxp sp2 based winpe build. When I use this command with the /pnp switch it fails to copy amdk8.sys because this file DOES NOT appear to exist in WinXP SP2 in the i386 directory and as a result doesn't get added when you build a SP2 slipstreamed source.

Secondly, this file DOES appear on a windows 2003 server w/SP1 source cd and works when using it as a source to generate a WinPE build.

Lastly, it is my understanding that you need to create your WinPE build with the /pnp switch or you will be unable to inject additional drivers into it.

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Thank you,

Big Joe
