Ignis Posted September 9, 2003 Posted September 9, 2003 hi there guys, i was wondering how could i change default cursors (those white a** coming with default installating) so windows would install them unattended wayi tried searching for them on all win dirs but found zero, are they compressed or something?does anyone know how to do this?thanks in advance =)pd: i know i can make a scheme, but i dont want this, i want to completely replace default cursors
Aaron Posted September 9, 2003 Posted September 9, 2003 The only way I can think of is to rename your favourite cursors the same as the windows default ones, and then copy them over using a batch. I'm unsure if this will work because the mouse pointer is active when the batch is running, so it may have to be done via cmdlines.txt
diesel_98a Posted February 27, 2004 Posted February 27, 2004 what about adding them to the $oem$\$$\Cursors? and renaming them to the windows default. that way they get replaced even before the cmdlines.txt
egalitarian Posted February 27, 2004 Posted February 27, 2004 How I did this:1. Set my current desktop cursors to the desired ones2. Exported [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Cursors]3. Added my custom cursors to $oem$\$$\Cursors4. Added the exported .reg to my regtweaks.reg wich run at T-12Good luck.
