Carrotman
I have a RIS server set up that successfully serves 25 machines. I have created a new image to use with a different set of machines and I keep getting a 'not enough disk space on the selected partition' error. The source machine and the destination machine are the same machine (I'm trying to re-image a machine with an image created from the same machine), and I can't understand why I'm getting this error.Any Thoughts? Thanks
cluberti
It sounds like either a NIC or mass storage driver that the machine needs is missing. Assuming you've booted into RIS via PXE, can you install the original flat file image onto that PC as a test? If you still get errors there, then you'll likely have to integrate the proper NIC and disk drivers into the flat file that the riprep image was built from before it'll work properly. Carrotman
Got it working! The machines were originally a dual boot, apparently a quick format is not enough - I rebuilt the source machine after performing a full format and it's all working now. Thanks for your help.
