Problem installing XP-Hotfixes

I've got a batch for installing nearly 40 hotfixes unattended and it's executed after the main_batch.cmd.

when i simulate on VirtualPC with my cd-image everything works fine, but when i install on a real pc, i've got the problem that after every hotfix-.exe i see a window that there's a problem with the 'update.exe' and i could send a report to microsoft. the installation quits.

rebooting the computer twice i started the hotfixes.cmd by myself and it worked: i could install every patch.

maybe the programms i install by main_batch.cmd are causing troubles?

- DirectX 9b

- Media Player 9

- copying uxtheme.dll

- Adobe Reader 6

- Nero 6

- DivX 5.0.5

- Norton Internet Security 2003
