stuffy Posted October 14, 2006 Posted October 14, 2006 I do not own a PC with Windows Media Center 2005. However, sometimes I am asked to work on such computers. How does one create a disk for Windows Media Center Edition 2005? I know how to create a Windows repair - install CD for Windows XP Home & Windows XP Pro, if one's PC does not come with a Windows CD.http://www.nu2.nu/bootcd/wxp/I have also read http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,1...,1/article.htmlhttp://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,1759,1747010,00.asp I looked at http://hfslip.org/ Thanks for your help. Sincerely,S
stuffy Posted October 14, 2006 Author Posted October 14, 2006 http://www.nu2.nu/bootcd/wxp/"Bootable Windows XP installation CD-Rom (with SP2)This will show you how to create a bootable Windows XP Home Edition or Professional installation/setup CD-Rom. Optionally you can integrate (slipstream) service pack 2, and add other stuff you want to your CD. The boot catalog and the NT bootstrap loader are hidden, just like the original bootable Windows XP CD-Rom."S
