Is there performance increases with the almost monthly updates of directx 9.0c?

I don't know if the performance is increased, but i'm sure..

the DirectX updates resolve some problems of the DirectX...

Example:

Install Windows XP SP2, WMP10, WMPEncoder9, the drivers of your system & PCMARK 2004....

the PCMARK 2004 encounter an error if you don't update DirectX!!!
