EBMMJP Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 This is soooo anoying . When i open a program it appears on the taskbar but dosen't open. I have to right click it and click maximise but for programssuch as spybot s&d and instalation software i cannot view them because they cannot be maximised. I have windows xp professional (version 2002) sp2. please help me.
Maleko Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 This might not be it, but right click the shortcut and go properties.Yu will see a drop down box of how the program will run...again, this may not be the case.

Also, does it happen right after a restart, or does it take some time for the issue to begin? One other question - when the issue occurs, how many other applications do you have running (including interactive services)?

allen2 Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Create a new user and try with the new created user. If it's only profile related it should work with the new created user.
