Vinciguerra
Greetings y´all. can anyone point me in the direction of a 64 bit fax software for Windows XP x64? Just migrated over and it all seems pretty good (some missing drivers, what to expect?) but i really need to get my hands on some working fax software. My old Intel 536EP fax modem had, lo and behold, working drivers, but i cant find any fax software.......
cluberti
Fax services are built-in, and you'll find them in Add/Remove Windows Components.
Vinciguerra
Fax services are built-in, and you'll find them in Add/Remove Windows Components.Thank you for answer! Yes, it should be possible to add the built-in fax service in XP x64 but it isnt, and for a very strange reason. The service needs a file, wfxapi.dll (WinFax Pro API?) thats not present on the XP cd or in the Windows installation. So it fails.......EDIT: Sorry, was using the wrong CD here, the XP x86 wont do, right? Was much better with the correct CD in the tray......
