Hi dear

I installed a programe some days ago in my computer with a Product Key, now I uninstalled the program to reinstall it with different Product Key, but when I run the installation it dos not ask me for key and install the programe.

I assume after uninstalling a programme, product key and other details will remain in my computer.

My question is how can I remove Product Key and other details of the programe from my computer after uninstallation, in order to reinstall the programme with fresh product key and activation number.

It really depends on the application in question...

I am realy having this problem wit Norton internet security.

How about this:

Uninstalling the 2003 or earlier version of Norton Internet Security or Personal Firewall 2003 when Add or Remove Programs does not remove it

or this:

Removing Norton AntiVirus 2003 or earlier by using the Rnav2003.exe removal utility when Add/Remove programs fails

or this:

Removing Norton Internet Security or Norton Personal Firewall 2005 from Windows 2000/XP after Add/Remove Programs does not work

Hmmm... Looks like Norton has issues with their uninstall procedures Anyway, sounds more like a Norton problem than an XP problem to me!
