asfand Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 I get the messagethe file 'reminst.inf' on service pack 1 cd-rom is needed when trying to add the remote installation service on Windows 2003 standard edition (Sp1)- I have pointed it to the extracted Sp1 files but it cannot find the file needed. I have also serched the local drives and the WIndows 20003 standard edition CD without luck, Any help would be greatly appreciated !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ctrl-X Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 It should be in the Windows Server 2003 installation CD i386 folder, but it will be compressed and therefor be called "REMINST.IN_".
