First, i'll give you my system description : Athlon XP 2000512mb RAM112GB HDRadeon 8500Now, for the problem....MY XP (Home) Installation was due for a rebuild, I had a lot of little problems which were causing problems. Anyway, I have now rebuilt it & it's running dog slow. Whenever I install an appplication or open one, my PC runs so slowly that it's difficult to move the mouse. When doing a cntl-alt-del I can see that the CPU Utilization is 100% then it drops to a normal level as soon as the application had loaded/installed. It doesn't matter what application it is, it does it with all of them ! I have checked the event viewer & there are no significant errors in there. I have also rebuilt the PC again & it's doing the same thing ! Any advice ?
