maniakmedic Posted October 1, 2006 Posted October 1, 2006 My computer had a new hard drive put into it, had XP put back on it, and I installed the Asian languages just like I had before. Unfortunately, the language bar is not acting like it did before. No matter what I do, I can't get it to show up on my taskbar. The language bar itself works just fine. I've tried right clicking on the task bar going into toolbars to check it, but it's not there.I've gone through the forums but so far haven't found anything like the problem I'm dealing with. If you know how to fix it, please help me. It's driving me crazy.
maniakmedic Posted October 4, 2006 Author Posted October 4, 2006 bumpI really need an answer if anybody has one.
Takeshi Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 (edited) I'd try this first (assuming it's not a modified source):Text Services and Input Lang > Settings > Preferences > [Language Bar][√] Show additional Language bar icons in the taskbarIf that fails, I'd completely uninstall and reinstall the lang IMEs and do a repair/fix of the taskbar. Or try another account. Edited October 4, 2006 by Takeshi
