ok - brand new pc!!

wont go to screen saver even tho as far as i can see its all set up properly and has a 10min waiting time!!!

also when i go to put it into standby mode all it does is comes up with screen that says "preparing to shutdown" then just wont do anything - i have to reset it!!

im running windows xp by the way!!


Power management or ACPI seem to not function properly. So either of them isn't properly installed or is disabled in bios.
