Windows XP Network Install

Hey!

I am trying to install Windows XP with SP2 from network using Windows Deployment Services and BDD 2007 Beta 2. I integrated "Intel® 82801GR/GH SATA RAID Controller (Desktop ICH7R/DH)" and "Intel® 82801GR/GH SATA AHCI Controller (Desktop ICH7R/DH)" using nLite 1.2b (multiple drivers, textmode). When it starts copying files to local hard drive, no iaStor.sys can not be found!

Hope u will help me guys! ;)

When you make that network install, is there iaStor.sys/iaStor.sy_ file in i386?

And first check if that installation works properly.

by default nLite driver integration put in i386 directory iastor.sy_! So I need manually put iastor.sys in i386 directory? And what iastor.sys file i need to put in i386 folder? Just copy and rename iastor.sy_? Because when nLite integrats iastor.sys(242KB), iastor.sy_(133KB) - file size is different.

Seems that installion works. Burned iso to CD and everthing is fine. So were is a problem with network installion? Any ideas?

You can make network installation but you can search for the missing file in the iso to see where it should be...weird.

What's wrong...well how did you make that ISO, that tool doesn't accept 3rd party added files.

found out that iastor.sys isnt in \WINDOWS\NLDRV\001 folder! Thats why setup couldnt find iastor.sys file maybe?

It should be there after install...also in sys32\drivers if installed.

I'll freak out :)...you have working CD and I don't see what is the problem to see on it where should the file be after your network preparations.
