bleethob
I use /integrate with hotfixes and would like to do this with the update for dx9c so I don't have to mess with runonce. I'm trying to integrate directx_aug2006_redist.exe into my XP sp2 cd. I tried the /INTEGRATE switch, didn't work.I ran directx_aug2006_redist.exe /? but it wasn't very helpful. Is it possible to do it like I want or will I have to use runonce?I currently have runonce setup to run the driver packs. I can modify it to install the update if I have to. Are there any switches I need to use? Thanks Edited September 27, 2006 by bleethob
Ctrl-X
The redist is IExpress compressed. The actual installation program is DXSetup.exe, which can run unattended using the /silent switch. So this should do the trick:directx_aug2006_redist.exe /q:a /r:n /c:"dxsetup.exe /silent"
ZileXa
It is not possible to integrate (slipstream) DirectX into Windows. Unless you go complicated with HFSLIP. Edited September 27, 2006 by ZileXa
