pomelo
hi all,I would like to know the minimal requirement for playing QuickTime media. I mean, files, reg entries and etc. for playing local QuickTime files is enough, no browser plugins needed. And if anybody can tell me the files and reg entries that can be used as browser plugins would be appreciate. Thanks in advance.
tain
Quicktime is tricky in that regard. I haven't seen that anyone has done what you are talking about successfully and reliably. You are probably best off just going with the "Alternative" installer.http://home.hccnet.nl/h.edskes/finalbuilds.htm
ZileXa
Use Quicktime Lite, it has option to install browserplugins. http://ksphere.free.frrembember that site! You can find ReaLite & WM Lite (usefull if you remove WMP+oldplayer+no compatibility) as well. Works fine here use it for more then a year. (With MPC).
