How do I stop the ASPI32 service from trying to start (Win2003)

Featured Replies

When my Windows 2003 box starts up it displays the "One or more services failed to start... view the event viewer for more information" or similarly worded dialog. When I go to the event viewer, it shows two System errors:

The ASPI32 service failed to start due to the following error:

The system cannot find the file specified

With Event ID: 7000

and

The HPFECP11 service failed to start due to the following error:

The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.

My system works fine however. Is it possible to remove the startup message? (The server does what I want it to and I'm not sure how to fix these messages).
