Unable to open Users and groups lusrmgr.msc

Hey all,

First post and new user to nLite.

Just installed 1.01 and built my 1st ISO. I slimmed down the OS and applied every MS patch I could find.

After installing the image I noticed that I've lost the functionality of the "Users and Groups" snap-in in the managment console. It just gives the error: Unable to open computer xxx The error is:Unspecified error

I thought I had gotten too aggressive in my slimming so I rebuilt the image without removing any Windows components. Same result.

Any help out there?

There is an old post with the same issue found below. Unfortunatly the solution doesn't seem to apply to version 1.01.

Don't remove Active Directory next time, no way to reinstate without reinstall that I know of.

Thanks for the tip NUHI. Unfortunately, I've tried to rebuild the image 2x now without any change.

I've looked but I don't see an option related to Active Directory. I even tried deselecting the entire "remove components" option with no change. Can you please tell me where that option can be found?

100% that it's the "Active Directory service"

Punch Find in the components page.

If you don't have it then you already removed it.
