Hotfix Integration

Hello,

I have tried the two ways that I have found here to integrate hotfixes into RIS images but when the image is deployed, I still have to perform almost 50 Windows Update.

I have tried using nLite, and using the /integrate:x:\risi386folder switch, but neither has worked. Am I missing something or is this really that flakey? Why wouldn't M$ make this easier? SO ANNOYING!!!!

I'm also about to embark on slipstreaming hot fixes to my RIS flat images.

We have been using Auto patcher but I want a more automated way of doing this.

Which method is the better and could somebody point me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

Am very interested but unable to find a how to to help start.

Could you point me in the right direction?

RyanVM is for post SP2 hotfixes so your base is ideal.

I use to use a program called RISUlt to add Drivers & Ryanvm to my RIS but it dosent support the latest driver packs. Im now in the process of using Autoimage as rougespear suggested.

Follow his guide & you shouldnt go too wrong.

Hi thanks guys,

I will give it a go as soon as I get a free hour or so at work. Busy busy busy at the moment.

I only want to integrate post SP2 Windows updates. Is it possible to only integrate these leaving the drivers alone?

No hurry on a reply, just curious before I start looking into this a little further.
