Need help with Multi Boot partitioning and setup

What I normally try to do is have Part1=OS;Part2=Progams;Part3=Data. And I create a unattend file to put the prgram files to the program partition and documents and setting to the data partition. However I want to move into the world of Dual/Multi boot.

What I am think is

Raid10 disk array

Part1 Primary=XP(x86); Part2 Primary=XP(x64); Part3 Primary=(third OS possibly Linux or Vista); Part4 Extended= Logical program drive and logical data drive.

I plan to use WinPE to do the diskpart (would it matter id I use the x64 or x86). I have read articles that make me worry about drive letter assignment that make me think my putting program files to the programs drive and documents and setting to the documents drive wouldn't work.

Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions.

would things be easier if instead of seperate progams and data drive I just did a single programs/data drive on the extended partition.
