Creating and using Hardware profiles

I have created a few hardware profiles for my system. I just found out about this feature and think its awesome. Is there a file these profile settings are saved to that i can hold on to so i can copy it over when i do fresh installs?

Oh really!! so if i export this key ones my profiles are complete and import it everything should be set up correctly?

I doubt it'll work because of CLSIDs for the hardware. I don't think they're identical on different computers but you can check it out and try modifying the CLSIDs.

I dont want to use it for other computer i want to save my profile so i can hold onto it so whenever i do a fresh install i do not have to put together the profile every install.

exporting those registry keys do not work. any other ideas?

Compare the hardware CLSIDs. I think they're different each time when generated, even when you reinstall on the same computer.
