USB driver does not start (Win2k)

Every time the system starts, it will not start the USB driver (ALi PCI to USB Open Host controller): yellow exclamation mark in configuration-system-hardware.

My solution is to have the system re-install the driver automatically. That works fine and the connected peripherals (printer and scanner) work OK.

But after system switch-off, the problem re-appears.

I have looked in the services but cannot find anything appropriate.

Any suggestions?

Try using drivers from the mobo manufacturer's site.
