RunOnceEx

Featured Replies

Hello All,

I'm a bit unclear as to how RunOnceEx is called up to run. I followed the directions, which said remove [GuiRunOnce] entries in winnt.sif. I then created the cmdline.txt, and RunOnceEx.cmd files and saved them in the $OEM$ folder.

Now here is where I am confused. Is there supposed to be an entry in Winnt.sif [GuiRunOnce] section pointing to cmdlines.txt, in order to make RunOnceEx.cmd run?

Nope, Cmdlines.txt is executed automatically during Windows setup when found in the correct location (the $OEM$ folder). So you only need to include a command line to execute RunOnceEx.cmd in your Cmdlines.txt.
