Need assistance installing EZ Dub burner by Lite on

Hello,

I purchased an EZ Dub Burner from Lite on, Model show-1673SU3508c. I hooked it up to the front USB port of my computer, loaded the software.

I get the message that it is unable to add the new hardware, because it cannot locate the device driver.

Under Device Manager, it shows up as "other device" with a big yellow question mark.

After doing some research, I it is supposed to be using the generic windows driver.

Previously, I had tried a sony dvd burner (external). It was doing the same thing so I took it back. I thought it was the burner. Now, I have the same problem with the Lite on.

I actually have two USB ports in front of computer and it does same. I even tried a USB port on the back of my computer. Same.

I have a Sony Vaio computer, model

pcvrxa842, windows xp home edition, service pack 2.

Any help would be appreciated.
