acenterprises Posted September 14, 2006 Share Posted September 14, 2006 I have been playing around with the trial version of S2k3 R2 Ent for a long time and it's fun to learn to run 3 servers but the trial version has proven to be pretty unstable- crashing every couple months and locking me out during repair attempt. Anyway I found this N-Lite version and thought "how cool, no more re-installs or data loss!" I like this version except that I have no LAN apparently because the netbt drivers were left out.I take it most of you don't like the Microsoft NetBios but I have come to depend on it. I run ACEnterprises Inc. off of these 3 home servers and I must have file sharing! I know- I know, spend the $1000 on the license right? Not just yet. Any suggestions on how to install this feature? To see what I have tried check my other thread "cannot clear netbios".Wile I wait for response I'm going to try to make the machine still running the full trial version a WINS server and point my other 2 boxes to it.
