mlmeyer Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 (edited) I've successfully created an image with nlite 1.0.1 final to use the onboard SATA raid controller that is part of the sr1435VP2 Intel Server Platform. The motherboard is an Intel SE7320vpd2 and the onboard SATA raid controller uses the MEGARaid drivers. I've incorportated all hotfixes, plus some additional applications that get installed during the first autologn. As I metioned, this is succesfull and very cool. My problems begin when there is an adapter for the RAID instead of the onboard. The Windows Factory Windows server 2003 CD has built in support for the SRCS16 controller but through a series of tests, I was able to determine that having the "unattended Installation" option breaks the ability to recognize and mount the drivers for this controller. Using the same CD that works on the the other servers of identical configuraton (except for the srcs16 controller) they work without error. My question is why would the built in drivers (trying to add the latest driver from Intel yields identical failures) fail to detect the srcs16 controller simply due to the fact that unattended installation mode is selected?
