I'm using VMWare to these the CD, is there something in the software I forgot? and if my hard disk requires the SATA drivers, do i need 'em via VMware?

Update: I tryed to change the boot setup to CD-ROM first but i still get the Please Inser Windows XP Pro SP2 Disk A in drive A: right after the F6 for SATA drivers and F2 for Automatic Recovery

No, no

I tryed [tried] to change the boot setup to CD-ROM first but i still get the Please Inser Windows XP Pro SP2 Disk A in drive A: right after the F6 for SATA drivers and F2 for Automatic Recovery

Then it's not CDROM boot problem. The CD is booting.

Something to do with the way you made the installation source.
