Dear nuhi,

It’s been a long time since last time we talked on the internet. How are you? Hope everything is fine with you.

I’d like to report to you about the bugs of B5 , B6 and 1.01 final version.

I found that B5 version could be applied stably on double-bits-patch version WinXP-SP2 (Traditional Chinese). However, there are problems running B6 and other versions as followinge:

1. About the B6 version:

The earlier realeased version could remove components of WinXP SP2 successfully. I think there might be problems with Frame2.0 ( “unknown hardware error” appears on the screen after the blue-white copied file mode showed up and pc rebooted ), since Framework 1.1 is ok.

2. About The RC and final versions:

**Testing procedure:

i. blue-white copied mode

ii.reboot

iii.copy file in GUI mode

iiii.WinXP installation

Files that are not removed patching by RC and final version are inclded in ISO files (whichever components are removed ).

a. Test 1:

When installing WinXP by the above mentioned ISO files in GUI mode, some files are not copied to hard disc, which causes WMI lacking and firewall disablity.

b. Test 2:

Before procedure iii, I played an original and unpatched WinXP SP2 disc. All files can be copied and installed completely without the problems of WMI and firewall.

However, the above problems exist in double-bits version only. Single-bit version is ok, eg. English version. So I suggest that you choose double-bits language version to do your test.

By the way, I promissed you that I can provide you a copy of WinXP SP2 in traditional Chinese, is it convenient for you to download it now?

Best regards,

punk

Hi,

I did get your message but I'm not yet ready to debug it.

And I don't know why you always report on old versions.

I'm interested only in latest version and what is your issue, don't confuse me with all these details.
