prx984
Im trying to make a batch file that will delete the unneccessary shortcuts off the start menu on the first boot after an unattended install of XP.i have written the batch file, but everytime i try to delete a shortcut even in command prompt, i get a stupid error saying it cannot fine the file. i have tried the 7'3 format and the full file name, but neither works. theres gotta be something i am doing wrong. i have already written a file that will delete temporary internet files upon startup and that works perfectly fine for me. also, i have written a file that will copy that to my startup menu after an install and run after everyboot.theres gotta be something im totally overlooking, if any one could give me a hand here, id much appreciate it. i want to use nLite to its fullest potential Edit: >_< i just figured it out after posting, i had 7 characters before the ~1.lnk part of the shortcut name, i changed it to 6 characters and it fixed it.
