URL redirection with Server 2003

trying to figure this out but i seemed to have hit a wall, trying to redirect a WSS site to a url that is more user friendly www.domain.com

been try ing to figure out how to do the redirection in DNS but to know luck is there an easier way, both are web urls.

by WSS are you talkin WSUS or something else...

do you have the root of that site available.. (ie http://server/path ... is http://server ... blank?)

you could use this method http://lazynetworkadmin.com/content/view/12/6/ if that is the case..

if the root is not.. you could always point it to another server and have it redirect using the method in the link.

Windows Sharepoint Services (actually office server 2007 but they are similar) i have a url say server:port\sandbox\default.aspx. i want to redirct it to www.domain.corp. tried doing a URL redirection in IIS but that was a no go.
