fizban2 Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 trying to figure this out but i seemed to have hit a wall, trying to redirect a WSS site to a url that is more user friendly www.domain.com been try ing to figure out how to do the redirection in DNS but to know luck is there an easier way, both are web urls.
chilifrei64 Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 by WSS are you talkin WSUS or something else...do you have the root of that site available.. (ie http://server/path ... is http://server ... blank?)you could use this method http://lazynetworkadmin.com/content/view/12/6/ if that is the case.. if the root is not.. you could always point it to another server and have it redirect using the method in the link.
