Sector7 Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 Hello again I just want to start off by saying this site has been great help in my quest to build what i think is the ultimate Unattended install of Windows XP. But i have run into a problem when trying to do a Unattended Install of programes that use the InstallShield. I've tried using the /R , /r , -r, and -R switches to record the install but none of them seem to work for me. any ideas? Thanks.Sector
zakum Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 (edited) -rCauses Setup.exe automatically to generate a silent setup file (.iss file), which is a record of the setup input, in the Windows folder.Have you looked there?Have a look at this linkas wellhttp://unattended.sourceforge.net/installers.php Edited August 22, 2006 by zakum
mazin Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Photoshop CS 8 is using Abcpy.ini, so no need to ISS.Isn't the new version using Abcpy.ini, too?
