prx984 Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 iv got build 5834, its big, slow and doesn't recognize my hardware >_< if it did, then maybe id like it, but if you ask me, microsoft is focusing too much on visuals. doesnt mean its a bad os, just doesn't cater to everyones needs imo. other than that, it didnt lock up or anything when i was using it for a bit there.
Biohead Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 I'm on 5472 still. I actually use it now as my main OS - I seem to be one of the lucky ones where my hardware agrees with Vista. Only bad thing is the 3 minute boot up - which I can easily get used to now @SmokeyTL: Where did you get 5520 from? AFAIK it's not been released yet - it certainly isn't on Connect anyway. I've heard Microsoft have put it into Escrow atm, with a release for testers being early September (4th I think???).
