Word window size problem

Hi Guys, I have done an exhaustive search for a solution, but all I get is repeated answers to completely different problems. The problem simply is: I can only use MS Word 2003 with a 'maximized' window and it will not let me resize it or restore or even 'size' it as I have done before. It is only on Word and not any other MS app. I am guessing it has something to do with my dual monitor setup, but I have tried disabling the slave and changing my resolution cinfiguraton and nothing seems to help, any ideas? Much appreciated help.

You are probably right about the multi-mon setup. Some multi-mon setups run software that perform desktop/window management.

Check your tray...there is probably an app in there that is controlling this behavior.
