Would any1 be able to help me find a link: to a standalone security suite that doesnt need to be installed and can run from a usb drive for example. Iv tryed many searches but have all proved fruitless. Thanks

Portable Clamwin can be a standalone virus scanner, but I don't know of any security suites (i.e. AV, firewall, anti-spyware) that are completely portable.

Portable Clamwin (anti-virus) and Winpooch (firewall) are about it

If your security requirements include encryption, then Truecrypt doesn't need to be installed, in traveller mode.

Or you could try BartPE, which has lots of antivirus and firewall plugins available, without needing to be installed on the host pc.
