application files problem

Hi,

I have a problem opening application files. I was tryin' to open the "shutdown.exe" file to put a command-line in, but when I opened it the aplication disappeared as quickly as i opened it. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Well maybe u executed just shutdown.exe without any switches?

Do u know what switches are?

Any command line app will almost certainly close after opening it w/o switches.
