Multilingual User Interface (MUI) conflicting with Language Interface

Hi.

I am running an HP tc4200 Tablet PC with Windows XP Tablet version.

My problem is as follows and I hope somebody would be able to help me out:

I am trying to install an Language Interface Pack (LIP) provided by Microsoft in order to change my PC from English into Afrikaans, however am unable to do so because apparently it cannot be installed whilst there is a Multilingual Interface Pack (MUI) installed. Now the problem is with tablets that one has no cd-rom drive and to re-install the PC is a huge mission without a CD-rom.

I have already uninstalled the german, french, etc languages from the MUI but of course is unable to uninstall English.

Does anybody know how to uninstall the MUI completely so that I can install the LIP?

Any suggestions or help would by much appreciated.

Thanks :)

Of course you cannot remove Eng.

Try moving the contents of the WINDOWS\MUI folder elsewhere.

Thanks, I'll try that.
