How to customise Visual Style for application

Hi Ppl,

I have written an application for windows Xp which uses Visual style.

Now I want to customise it, say the background color of the pushbutton becomes red,

and the checkbox "tick" becomes red etc...

This would be some sort of a skin to my application, without changing the code itself..

I do not want to hard code these values in the application (The application is already built).

Is there a way to suply this information in the theme or the visual style ?

If yes, how do I supply this information.

Please help as I am stuck
