I can already install WindowBlinds unattended, so all you have

to do then is double click the .WBA file (the theme) and then

double click the WindowBlinds system tray icon and it applies

the theme, but is it possible to add the settings to the registry

as Windows is installing (and copy the theme over simply by

putting it in $Progs) to set the theme file up as default so

Windows loads that way?

I tried it by exporting the whole stardock folder from the registry,

but it has entries in the users CLSID which is random and besides,

if you export these it does not export the numbers anyway, just

exports an exact copy of the entries in HKCU :(

It seems impossible to integrate a WindowBlinds theme as default,

but so far I think I have always found the solution somewhere here on

MSFN

I am only asking because I have searched Google, searched MSFN, it

seems to be one of those things no one has managed to work out... yet :}

I stopped using Window Blinds awhile ago, but I used to install it unattended with a theme of my choice. I just took a look at one of my old discs and it appears that I used InstallRite to get the job done. I do recall that it was a tough nut to crack and that would make sense, since I only ever used InstallRite as a last resort. Good luck.

Edit: oh, yeah, did you check the Application Installs area? Might find something there.

Thanks for the reply, I thought this was a no hoper,

I didn't search hard enough it seems! :blushing:

Found this...

This is all I need to do, somehow get this crazy 7z archive to extract the theme

Because its 2Mb compressed or 30Mb if its not, big difference huh.

Then apply the theme unattended so after reboot (which it does anyway) it will be

set up that way with the theme already as default, fingers crossed.
