Hi

I would like to be able to add what is basically a shortcut to the left navigation pane (folders) in windows explorer.

At the moment I have a shortcut I use on my desktop to take me to the folder I want.

But I would like to be able to have quick access to it throught the folders pane on the left. So it would appear some place below

My Documents

My Computer

Recycle Bin

-My Shortcut

Hope I have explained myself.

Thanks

thanks XP_2600...

That is not exactly what I am looking for....

Within windows explorer I am looking to add a place on my local disk so it is displayed under the desktop option.

Windows key + E to bring up explorer

view > explorer bar > folders

|Desktop

|My Documents

|My Computer

|Recycle Bin

|My Shortcut (C:\documents and settings\my user\mylocal data)

hope that explains a little better.
