AMCDeathKnight Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 How can I install Windows XP through Network?I have a laptop (Evo 1000v),the DVDRom and Floppy drive does not work and was wondering how I might go about installing Windows XP onto At the moment I have Ubuntu Linux on it.
Takeshi Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 I've just tried googling the hardware but it's taking too long.If it supports USB boot device you could use an ext. CDROM.If it supports PXE network boot you could use RIS.If it were mine, I'd simply replace the faulty ROM.
